DescriptionAmazon Web Services has an immediate opening for a Technical Program Manager, Infrastructure to support data center infrastructure expansion. The TPM will lead cross‑functional teams to drive regional data center build projects from inception through design, implementation, testing, and deployment. The ideal candidate will be an exceptionally strong communicator, possess 3+ years of tactical project management experience on highly technical initiatives, and have strategic program management skills.
Experience in managing data center infrastructure deployments is a plus. A Bachelor’s degree or additional technical experience is required. Candidates with backgrounds in architecture/design, mechanical/electrical engineering, software/hardware engineering, data center infrastructure/operations, or construction who have transitioned to program management will have a distinct advantage. The TPM will be fully competent in project management tools, methodologies and techniques for all phases of the project lifecycle and exhibit demonstrated proficiency in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk management, reporting and metric development/tracking.
Other requirements include proficiency with MS Office, MS Project and MS SharePoint. Experience with Tableau, Smartsheets, SQL and systems integration is a plus. This position requires 10% travel (domestic and international to AWS Data Center Clusters).

Responsibilities- Lead cross‑functional teams to drive data center build projects from inception through deployment.
- Manage remote project delivery teams and facilitate technical whiteboard sessions to troubleshoot implementation issues.
- Establish trust with stakeholders across multiple time zones, manage capital budgets, eliminate non‐value‑add activity, design solutions and remove blockers to accelerate project delivery.
- Demonstrate proficiency in scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk management, reporting and metric development across all project phases.
- 3+ years of technical infrastructure management or project management experience.
- Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (network, data center, hardware, software).
- Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds.
- Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project and MS SharePoint. Experience with Tableau, Smartsheets, SQL and systems integration is a plus.
- Master’s degree.

Our total compensation includes base pay, equity, sign‑on payments and benefits. Pay ranges from $114,400 to $205,500 per year depending on geographic market.
