Summary:
The Training Coordinator will be responsible for developing and maintaining the training system for GCM’s US-based facilities. The coordinator will work closely with functional team leaders to develop subject matter experts and ensure proper use of the training software and system. The coordinator will drive training standards for job requirements, training format, training methods, training plans, training effectiveness, and record retention.
Job Responsibilities:- Develop and execute the plan to implement a Learning Management System
- Coordinates with operations, engineering, and quality departments to develop the training requirements for each specific role
- Develop method to ensure training effectiveness and document results
- Works with all employees to develop subject matter experts and training content
- Teach subject matter experts how to be effective trainers
- Manage employee training records, including following up with delinquent training
- Engage employees to develop their own training needs and goals
- Engage leaders to support employee training and personal mastery
- Create standards for relevant training documents, forms, and templates
- Maintain training software and training system metrics
- Conduct organization wide needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
- Must be a team player as measured by his/her peers
- Performs other related duties assigned
- Knowledge of learning management systems and associated software
- Proven ability to facilitate full training cycle
- Professional ability to conduct training sessions in a group setting
- Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
- Advanced user in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams
- Ability to travel to Addison, IL, and Leland, NC locations
- BS degree in Education, Training, HR, or related field
- Someone who proactively addresses concerns and potential issues prior to them negatively impacting business
- Someone who is personally committed to owning the outcome of identified results with a proven record of success and ownership when achieving goals
- A strong initiative with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- A problem solver with a solution focused mindset
