Quality Inspector I – Knorr Brake Company
OverviewThe QA Inspector will perform inbound/outbound goods QA checks and production product ATP test inspection for 4 hours daily, and will conduct inbound/outbound material, service product handling with SAP and support production needs for 4 hours daily.
Responsibilities- Maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment and ensure compliance with company rules and policies.
- Comply with quality, product safety, and HSE rules, guidelines and regulations. Be energy conscious, if applicable.
- Understand and comply with applicable standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 22163, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, AAR, and CMMI.
- Maintain and safeguard business records.
- Perform inbound goods/product QA inspection.
- Conduct outbound goods/product inspection and shipping process.
- Perform FAI ATP test inspection.
- Handle SAP processes – create/process repair report, Migo goods received/out.
- Inventory management.
- Process material requests to meet production needs.
- Basic mechanical repair and test.
- Log, enter and track case activity – record management.

High School Diploma / GED
Required Experience0–2 years relevant experience
Physical DemandsSitting, standing, walking, alternate sitting or standing at will, kneeling, lifting or carrying a maximum weight of 50 lbs.
Compensation & BenefitsThe anticipated wage for candidates who will work in Union City, CA is $28.90 per hour. The final pay offered will depend on factors such as type and years of experience, industry experience, and education. Knorr Brake Company offers a comprehensive benefits package including group health care plans, a 401(k) plan, 80 hours of vacation leave, 12 paid holidays and 1 floating holiday, 6 weeks of paid parental leave, and opportunities for company stock purchase and annual bonuses.
