About Us: Masonic Homes of Union City has served Masons and their families since 1898. We offer Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing units. The certified nursing assistant role provides intimate, quality healthcare to residents, utilizing knowledge of State and Federal laws and regulations governing Long Term Care.

• Provide basic nursing care to patients and residents within the scope of nursing assistant responsibilities.
• Perform basic nursing procedures under the direction of a licensed nurse supervisor.
• Work as part of a respectful, cohesive team to deliver exceptional care for residents and patients.

• Ability to perform nursing care per current community standard for long term care.
• Interact effectively with residents, visitors, administration, physicians, volunteers, and staff.
• Knowledge of State and Federal laws and regulations governing Long Term Care.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Understanding and responding appropriately to cultural diversity.

• 6+ months of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant desired.
• Active and current Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
