Join Lifeway Mobility, a nationwide provider of accessibility solutions, as a Field Technician / Installer in Union City, CA. You will install and service products such as wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, and ceiling lifts, helping individuals regain their freedom and independence.

Location: Union City, CA

Schedule: Full‑time, Monday–Friday with occasional Saturday overtime

What You’ll Do

• Pick up and load the company vehicle each morning
• Install and repair accessibility products
• Explain projects to customers and answer questions
• Enter work orders and inventory data into the system
• Receive paid manufacturer training and hands‑on learning
• Work independently or as part of a two‑person team
• Handle jobs ranging from a few hours to a few days—no overnight travel required
• Occasional Saturday overtime available
• All tools are provided

Who We’re Looking For

• Experience using hand and power tools
• Basic computer skills for work orders and inventory
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Background in construction, carpentry, HVAC, solar, or other installation/service trades is a plus
• Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and motor vehicle record check
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle to job sites

Physical Requirements

• Lift 75+ lbs. and work overhead for short periods
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors year‑round
• Ability to climb ladders, crouch, and occasionally work in confined spaces and at heights
