Job Overview
This position is for a Field Service Technician responsible for conducting safe and efficient maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment at Ring Power Corporation.
Responsibilities- Conduct all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to all applicable safety, environmental, and contamination control policies, procedures, and regulations. Wear proper personal protective equipment.
- Attend and successfully complete required technician training classes.
- Maintain a necessary set of tools required for job performance to diagnose, disassemble, and assemble components to manufacturer’s specifications.
- Diagnose and perform designated repairs on customer or company-owned equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
- Work in a neat and orderly fashion, constantly looking for ways of improving methods of work, work area, and safety standards.
- Inspect components to insure maximum parts are being reused to control repair costs.
- Complete required documentation using appropriate software to document repairs performed on equipment and account for repair times.
- Monitor job expenses versus repair estimates and ensure that the supervisor is aware of any cost overrun prior to the job being completed.
- Approach work positively, maintain conduct supportive of the work team, and set the standard for others to follow.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks on time while maintaining safety and quality expectations.
- Train and/or mentor others in the department.
- Assume the supervisor’s position temporarily as necessary.

- High School diploma or GED.
- 5–6 years of relevant experience.
- Completed all required training curriculum to be designated a Tech I.
- Able to easily comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.
- Proficient in the use of a computer, Microsoft Office products, and relevant dealer software programs. (Not required but highly desired)
- Successfully completed relevant specialized equipment technical courses. (Not required but highly desired)
Job requirements frequently change; re‑training is required once or more per year.
