About

The Role

The Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship program offers 12 weeks of classroom instruction combined with on‑the‑job learning. Participants gain valuable skills that prepare them to join our account as a world‑class Maintenance or Controls Technician after successful completion of the program.

What You’ll Do
  • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
  • Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to material handling equipment (belts, motors, photo‑eyes, relays, etc.).
  • Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
  • Complete and properly document preventative maintenance routines.
  • Track and store department inventory.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with the Client and Operations Maintenance team.
  • Perform other job‑related duties as needed or assigned.
What You’ll Need
  • Current U.S. work authorization without the need for visa sponsorship.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to attend a 9‑week in‑person paid training at a designated provider.
  • Proficiency using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to follow standard maintenance instructions.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs or ladders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
  • Experience using powered or non‑powered hand tools.
