Contract Logistics 1st Shift Picker/Packer
Join Kuehne+Nagel as a Contract Logistics 1st Shift Picker/Packer. In this role you will manage end‑to‑end warehousing operations for our customers, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, verification, shipping/manifesting, screening and other duties to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
You will work Monday – Friday, 5:00 am – 1:30 pm and be paid weekly at $19.20 per hour.
Essential Duties and Functions- Comfortable with counting, sorting, and handling small to large parts
- Ability to operate tools for the role such as RF Scanner and Hip Printer
- Picking priority orders such as Aircraft on Ground, Transfer of Asset, Panics and Current date orders
- Ensure stored location inventory and outbound deliveries are accurate and free of damage
- Effectively understand and mark Delivery note tickets by pick type to support accurate shipments
- Ability to palletize and shrink‑wrap
- Comfortable with walking and standing up to 8 hours per day during processing hours
- May be required to stack pallets and repeatedly lift up to (50) pounds
- Effectively work from pick tickets to pull product or supplies
- Validate orders against Delivery notes by validating part and option numbers
- If/when applicable, ‘bonded’ cargo must be processed and handled accordingly, based on existing guidelines for this type of shipment
- Deliver a high level of service to customers through accurate order picking
- Assist in other departments on a business need basis
- Minimum Education:
High School, High School Equivalent or Technical degree - Proven basic math skills at the high school level
- Computer skills
- SAP and MS (Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook) experience is preferred, but not required
- Must be a US citizen
