We are seeking a skilled technician to assist in insect rearing for research purposes and support laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with ISO Quality Management Standards and safety protocols.

• Assist in insect colony maintenance, including feeding, cage upkeep, and media preparation.
• Handle all life stages of insects.
• Support laboratory experiments, data collection, and entry.
• Generate and evaluate lab-scale samples for customer technical programs, process and product research, and manufacturing support.
• Perform stoichiometric calculations for production using computer programs or hand calculations.
• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment needed for production, routine processing, and property evaluation.
• Maintain logs, notebooks, and computer documents.
• Provide internet and other information searches as needed for problem solving.
• Interface with manufacturing and research personnel, and communicate with customers when required.
• Ensure timely results to uphold product quality shipped to customers.

• 4‑6 years of relevant experience in laboratory or research settings.
• Proficiency in following ISO Quality Management Standards and EHS, SOPs, and Responsible Care regulations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under more than one technical supervisor.
• Capacity to perform lift of up to 25 pounds and to stand or sit for extended periods.

• Indoors with controlled temperature.
• Standing and sitting throughout the day.
• Data entry and routine laboratory duties.
• Use of proper PPE (safety goggles, respirators, gloves).
