About the Role:

As a Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our client's product development process. You will leverage your experience in contract manufacturing to design, develop, and optimize products from concept to production. Your expertise in 3D modeling, laser and punch programming, and production drawing creation will be instrumental in ensuring product quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Design:Design new products and modify existing ones based on customer specifications and market trends.
• 3D Modeling:Create detailed 3D models of products using industry-standard CAD software.
• Laser and Punch Programming:Develop and optimize laser and punch programs to ensure accurate and efficient manufacturing processes.
• Production Drawings:Convert product designs into detailed production drawings that clearly communicate manufacturing requirements.
• ERP System Expertise:Utilize Mie Trak or other ERP systems to manage product data, track production processes, and troubleshoot system issues.
• Data Harvesting:Gather and analyze data from various sources to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Mechanical preferred
• 2-4 years of experience in a contract manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD).
• Experience in programming lasers and punches.
• Strong understanding of production drawing standards and practices.
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Salary Transparency:$70,000 - $90,000
