Teller Supervisor – United Bank of Union
United Bank of Union offers a detail‑oriented, energetic, customer‑focused position with the Retail Banking team as a Teller Supervisor. This role oversees daily teller operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining compliance with banking policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Supervise, train, and mentor teller staff to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
- Resolve customer issues and elevate complex problems.
- Perform teller duties as needed.
- Verify and approve wire transfer instruction exceptions.
- Promote bank products and services to customers.
- Balance vault and ATM, and oversee end‑of‑day balancing procedures.
- Monitor performance and provide feedback to tellers.
- Open and close teller facilities during scheduled workdays as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and bank policies.
- Monitor teller transactions for accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
- Prepare reports as needed.
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary.
- 2+ years of banking/teller experience.
- At least 1 year in a supervisory or lead teller role strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations and teller operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
