Are you ready to make a difference? Join us as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Mercy Hospital Washington on a PRN (as-needed) basis. Here, your skills and compassion will directly impact lives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Position OverviewAs part of our dedicated ICU/TCU team, you'll work in a vibrant 19-bed unit, which includes a 13-bed Intensive Care Unit and a 6-bed Transitional Care Unit (step-down). Our strong interdisciplinary teamwork and commitment to high-quality patient care create an ideal environment for both experienced nurses and recent graduates.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to provide exceptional patient care.
- Maintain professional accountability for the care of assigned patients.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers.
- Coordinate patient care in collaboration with other departments.
- Uphold patient rights and confidentiality.
- Perform duties in alignment with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Shift: Days
- Shift Differentials: Evening/Night/Weekend/Holiday
- Retirement Planning: Employer-matched retirement contributions
- Tuition Reimbursement: $2,000 annually
- Education: Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program
- Licensure: Current RN license in the state of practice or compact license, meeting all state board requirements.
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required within 30 days of hire
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Required
- Additional unit-specific certifications as applicable
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds regularly
- Prolonged standing and walking required
- Must be able to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as part of regular duties
