Are you ready to make a difference? Join us as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Mercy Hospital Washington on a PRN (as-needed) basis. Here, your skills and compassion will directly impact lives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

As part of our dedicated ICU/TCU team, you'll work in a vibrant 19-bed unit, which includes a 13-bed Intensive Care Unit and a 6-bed Transitional Care Unit (step-down). Our strong interdisciplinary teamwork and commitment to high-quality patient care create an ideal environment for both experienced nurses and recent graduates.

• Utilize the nursing process to provide exceptional patient care.
• Maintain professional accountability for the care of assigned patients.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers.
• Coordinate patient care in collaboration with other departments.
• Uphold patient rights and confidentiality.
• Perform duties in alignment with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Status: PRN
Shift: Days

• Shift Differentials: Evening/Night/Weekend/Holiday
• Retirement Planning: Employer-matched retirement contributions
• Tuition Reimbursement: $2,000 annually

• Education: Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program
• Licensure: Current RN license in the state of practice or compact license, meeting all state board requirements.
• Certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required within 30 days of hire
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Required
  • Additional unit-specific certifications as applicable
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Prolonged standing and walking required
  • Must be able to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as part of regular duties
