Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Quality Control / Manager
Overview
Quality Management Specialist - Romer Labs | Union, MO. This role ensures all processes in the Analytical Services Lab comply with group standards and ISO 17025 accreditation requirements, while meeting customer and regulatory requirements and minimizing quality risk in the laboratory.
This position supports the Romer Labs division, a global leader in innovative diagnostic solutions for food and feed safety, with a focus on mycotoxins, food allergens, GMOs, and microbial contaminants.
Responsibilities- Implement Integrated Management System (IMS) programs for quality, environmental, safety, and ethical management, focusing on continuous improvement of business processes.
- Ensure adherence to Romer Group standards for global compliance with international quality and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and communicate business process improvements to demonstrate enhancements during audits and inspections.
- Develop and implement training concepts to ensure site-wide compliance with implemented standards and legal requirements.
- Conduct internal audits to identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective and preventive measures.
- Assist in external audits and inspections, guiding the process and supporting colleagues.
- Bachelor's degree in a science-related field
- Laboratory experience
- Knowledge of ISO 17025 standard
- Knowledge of quality-related regulations
- Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize daily tasks
Salary range: $48,700 – $65,000. The salary or hourly wage reflects the pay range the company expects to pay the successful candidate; actual offer is based on skills, experience, education, and location.
