Group Fitness Instructor

The District of West Vancouver offers a wide range of health & fitness activities including a dynamic and diverse Group Fitness schedule at both the West Vancouver and the Gleneagles Community Centres. We have immediate openings for casual Group Fitness Instructors at the West Vancouver Community Centre.

We are seeking certified and experienced Group Fitness Instructors with excellent interpersonal skills. Current openings include Monday, Thursday and Friday mornings, and weekday evenings from 6pm. Some are seniors’ classes, so experience with this age group is worth highlighting.

Preference will be given to those who can teach multiple formats and can work evenings and weekends to provide flexible cover / subbing.

The successful candidate will possess a current BCRPA Group Fitness Certification or equivalent group fitness certification, and current First Aid and CPR. Personal trainers will only be prvened if they have experience teaching to groups. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to demonstrate their teaching skills at interview.
