The Township of Union Public Schools is seeking dedicated, knowledgeable, and qualified Substitute Teachers.
Responsibilities:- Assist with classroom instruction and management in the absence of a Classroom Teacher
- Ensure regular classroom routines are followed
- Follows and teaches lesson plans
- Aides students in understanding subject matter
- Valid NJ CE, CEAS or Standard Teacher Certification; or
- Valid NJ Substitute Credential
- Knowledge and understanding of student learning standards
- Great communication skills
- Strong classroom management skills
- $160.00 per day for Substitutes with a substitute credential
- $170.00 per day for Substitutes with a teaching certification
Applicants who do not have a valid Substitute Credential or Teacher Certification will not be considered.
