GENERAL DESCRIPTIONResponsible for working with program staff to develop innovative training programs for members using behavior management intervention techniques.
EDCUATION / EXPERIENCEBCBA. Minimum two years' experience working with people with developmental disabilities in program planning and/or behavior management.
JOB TASKS- Develop and implement appropriate behavior plans for members including training of other staff.
- Serve as liaison with health care providers regarding treatment of members.
- Provide staff training on effective behavioral supports.
- Develop an effective working relationship with CAU staff.
- Thoroughly document all interactions with members.
- Participate as a member of the Inter disciplinary team for members on caseload.
- Maintain appropriate staff/member interactions.
- Maintain program operations and facilitate program development.
- Cooperate with Agency, legal authorities and Department of Human Services or any part or successor thereof in any inspection or investigation.
- Will be sent all UIR’s and will disseminate all behavioral UIR’s to appropriate behaviorist.
- Manage behaviorists caseloads, ensuring cases are distributed evenly.
- Manage NETtime for Behaviorists
- Collaborate with the MAED on performance evaluations.
- Assign and collect bio-psychosocial assessments.
- Conduct orientation and training of new behavioral team members
- Attend AED Meetings
- Meet once a month with the MAED and Clinical Supervisor
- Ensures compliance with wearing a mask when mandated by State, Federal, and Licensing authorities during a public health crisis/pandemic.
- All other duties as assigned.
