Asst Manager, Medical Imaging

The Assistant Manager of Medical Imaging supports the operational, clinical, and administrative functions of the imaging department. This role ensures high-quality imaging services are delivered efficiently and in compliance with regulatory standards. The assistant manager acts as a liaison between team members, physicians, and leadership, and customers. They play a key role in team member supervision, workflow optimization, and patient care coordination.

• Supervise daily operations in one or more imaging modalities.
• Coordinate staffing schedules, manage time‑off requests, and ensure adequate coverage.
• Support quality assurance and performance initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, HIPAA, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate training for new team members.
• Participate in performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with practitioners and clinical teams to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic services.
• Participate in strategic planning and departmental goal setting.
• Ensure all annual competencies are completed in a timely manner and all team member files are in compliance.
