Responsibilities

• Formulate and develop the technology strategy in line with business goals.
• Design and maintain a scalable, secure, and fault‑tolerant architecture for the entire platform (APIs, integrations, data flows, infrastructure).
• Oversee R&D initiatives: identify promising technologies, conduct PoCs and pilot implementations.
• Conduct regular technical audits of the existing stack, identify and eliminate performance and architectural bottlenecks.
• Define and implement architectural standards and best practices for development, CI/CD, testing, and security.
• Develop architectural solutions for integration with new game providers and casinos through a unified API.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on architecture and technical solutions.
• Collaborate with development, Dev Ops, QA, and product management teams to ensure implementations comply with architectural standards.
• Advise teams on technology selection, design decisions, and scaling approaches.
• Develop and implement security measures for APIs: request/response digital signatures, traffic encryption, access control, replay‑attack protection, HMAC and JWT authentication.
• Ensure solutions comply with security standards requirements.

Required Skills

• Work experience as a Solution Architect / Principal Engineer / Enterprise Architect for 5+ years.
• Experience in researching and implementing modern technology stacks in line with business expectations.
• Experience in identifying and eliminating bottlenecks in project architecture.
• Deep knowledge of high‑load distributed systems architecture (10k+ RPS).
• Experience in designing APIs (REST, gRPC, Web Socket) and migrating to modern formats (JSON, Protobuf).
• Excellent understanding of microservices architecture, containerization, and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience working with databases (Click House, Postgre
  
  SQL, Mongo
  
  DB, Redis).
• Experience in implementing and supporting solutions in AWS.
• Strong understanding of security principles: digital signatures, encryption, API protection against attacks, access control, secure authorization and authentication.
• Knowledge in information security (OWASP, PCI DSS, transaction protection).
• Facilitation skills in architectural decision‑making.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to different audiences (developers, management).
• English – fluent spoken and written.
• Ukrainian – fluent spoken and written.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in iGaming, Fin Tech, or other high‑load B2B platforms.
• Participation in the development of integration protocols and interaction standards between systems.
• Experience in providing technology consulting or involvement in industry R&D projects.

Work conditions

• Remote work from EU
• Flexible 8‑hour workday, typically between 9:00 – 18:00 CET
• Five working days, Monday to Friday
• Public holidays observed according to Ukrainian legislation
• Business trips to Bratislava every 3–6 months (company provides compensation of expenses)
