About the RoleAs the Assistant Executive Director (AED) of Program Services
, you’ll provide strategic oversight and leadership for assigned Department of Human Services programs. You’ll supervise staff, manage program operations, and ensure full compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and quality assurance standards.
In this leadership role, you’ll drive program growth, optimize staffing resources, and champion service excellence. From audits to inspections, staff development to program expansion, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining high-quality services that truly make a difference.
What You’ll Do- Lead all administrative functions for assigned DHS programs
- Ensure fulfillment of all AED-level responsibilities and delegate effectively
- Oversee contract outcomes, renewals, reporting, and fiscal analysis
- Support program growth and development initiatives
- Monitor and manage program budgets and spending plans
- Supervise and develop staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Ensure ongoing compliance with licensing inspections and program audits
- Oversee member health, safety, community inclusion, and meaningful engagement
- Ensure accurate member financial records and entitlement management
- Lead incident reviews and interdisciplinary team (IDT) participation
- Use the Program Service Review (PSR) to drive continuous improvement
- Conduct regular program inspections and maintain high-quality standards
- Ensure compliance with all required background checks and agency policies
- Follow all public health mandates, including mask usage when required
- Support agency inspections, audits, and investigations
- All other duties as assigned
- Valid Driver's License and car required
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience plus 4 years administrative/supervisory experience with social services agency(ies) required.
