** Job Description****$10,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible full-time and part-time new employees joining UW Medicine
** Harborview Medical Center's Emergency Department is looking for highly qualified,
** Advance Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
** to join our level 1 trauma center ED.  Under general administrative supervision of the Assistant Administrator of ARNPs & PA-Cs,

* RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

*
* * but not limited to:
** Providing clinical expertise to patients and their families.
* A resource person for health care providers.
* Participation in research and teaching programs.
* General independence and decision-making responsibility.
*(Under the general guidance of the attending physicians, chief resident, and department Nurse Manager).
** Guidelines include general policy procedures and practice guidelines established by the department and Harborview Medical Center, as well as appropriate professional and technical manuals.
* Work is performed in the Emergency Department 24 Hour/7 days a week.

* SCHEDULE:

*** 90% Night shift        
** REQUIRMENTS:
*** ARNP’S:  Have/Obtain a Washington state Register Nurse (or MSL) and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Licenses to practice in the state of Washington.
* PA’S:
Have/Obtain a license to practice as a Physician assistant in the state of Washington and
* ARNP’s Board Certification by ANCC or AAPP
* PA’s Board Certification from NCCAP
* ARNP’s Graduated from accredited school of nursing program
* PA’s:
Graduated form accredited program for Physician Assistant studies.
* ARNP’ and PA’s Prescriptive authority
* ARNP’s and PA’s BLS and ACLS and PALS certification
