SS&C Globe Op is seeking a curious, adaptable, and forward-thinking Junior AI-Assisted Software Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate or someone with 1–2 years of experience who is excited about using modern tools (including generative AI) to accelerate software development. We’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo, experiment with new approaches, and continuously learn.

About The Team

In this role, you will be part of a larger Product Development team consisting of Software Engineers, Business Analysts, Dev Ops Engineers and Quality Assurance Specialists all working together to drive innovation across our platform. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, have great communication skills and be able to work within a group and independently.

• Use AI coding tools (e.g., Git Hub Copilot, ChatGPT, Code Whisperer, etc.) to assist in writing, refactoring, and debugging code.
• Collaborate with senior developers to design and build scalable, maintainable software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of team processes.
• Experiment with AI-assisted workflows and help define best practices within the team.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in AI and software engineering to help us stay ahead of the curve.
• Take ownership of small projects or features from planning through deployment.
• Document your work clearly and concisely.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 0–2 years of professional software development experience.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, .Net, etc.).
• Experience experimenting with AI, prompt engineering, or automation tools.
• Comfortable using or learning AI tools to enhance productivity.
• Demonstrated interest in learning and trying new technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a creative mindset.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Exposure to agile development methodologies
• Experience using SQL Tools
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops
• Experience with in the Financial Industry
