** SUMMARY
* * Responsible for receiving, stocking, preparation and shipping of merchandise to customers in local and outlying areas.
** ESSENTIAL DUTIES
*** Accurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot and confirm the correct quantity and unit of measure.
* Load Merchandise into appropriate truck.
* Drop merchandise for "reserve" to "pick" slots.
* Prepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines.
* Repack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery.
* Verify quality of product, packaging and adherence to vendor compliance policy.
* Accurately adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard, “Preferred Method Standard”.
* Identify and report slot and put-away problems.
* Shrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed.
* Performs house keeping duties as assigned.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
** KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
** The ideal Candidate will have ability to:
* Operate forklift/pallet jack and cherry picker.
* Lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly each shift.
* Bend, stoop, climb, stand and twist for extended periods of time.
* Successfully complete forklift training/certification requirements.
* Operate a Radio Frequency (RF) or Voice Pick devices.
** WORK ENVIRONMENT
** The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
* Job is performed in a warehouse/operations environment.
* Frequently exposed to fast-moving material handling equipment or other mechanical equipment.
* This is a full-time position.
* Must have the ability to work a varying schedule which might include shift work (days or nights), weekdays or weekends, and some holidays.
* Work hours may vary or change based on customer orders, departmental or business requirements.
* The position does not require travel.
** QUALIFICATIONS

* Required:

*** Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Must pass a functional capacity test.
** Preferred:
*** Knowledge of SAP.
* 1+ year warehouse experience.
* Previous forklift certification.
* Material handling equipment experience.
* Reach truck experience.
