Warehouse Associate Union - Night Shift; NJ Westampton, NJ Posted

$21.90 +shift differential +increase every 6 months, up to $26.62

Sun-Thu 5:00p - 1:30am or finished, up to 2 hours/day OT

Responsible for receiving, stocking, preparation and shipping of merchandise to customers in local and outlying areas.

• Accurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot and confirm the correct quantity and unit of measure.
• Load Merchandise into appropriate truck.
• Drop merchandise for "reserve" to "pick" slots.
• Prepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines.
• Repack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery.
• Verify quality of product, packaging and adherence to vendor compliance policy.
• Accurately adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard, “Preferred Method Standard”.
• Identify and report slot and put-away problems.
• Shrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed.
• Performs house keeping duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The ideal Candidate will have ability to:

• Operate forklift/pallet jack and cherry picker.
• Lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly each shift.
• Bend, stoop, climb, stand and twist for extended periods of time.
• Successfully complete forklift training/certification requirements.
• Operate a Radio Frequency (RF) or Voice Pick devices.

• Job is performed in a warehouse/operations environment.
• Frequently exposed to fast-moving material handling equipment or other mechanical equipment.
• This is a full-time position.
• Must have the ability to work a varying schedule which might include shift work (days or nights), weekdays or weekends, and some holidays.
• Work hours may vary or change based on customer orders, departmental or business requirements.
• The position does not require travel.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a functional capacity test.

• Knowledge of SAP.
• 1+ year warehouse experience.
• Previous forklift certification.
• Material handling equipment experience.
• Reach truck experience.
