Trusts, Estates & Fiduciary Litigation Attorney

Compensation – $180,000 – $280,000 per year (base pay range). Hybrid work schedule.

Mid‑sized law firm located on Long Island, specializing in trusts, estates, fiduciary litigation, and commercial litigation.

• Lead and defend complex fiduciary and estate litigation, including contested probate, administration, will construction, accounting, and removal proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery demands and trial submissions for trials, bench matters, and settlement negotiations.
• Appear in court and before the New York Surrogate’s Court and Supreme Court.
• Collaborate with attorneys on multidisciplinary matters involving business dealings of decedents.

• J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Admission to the New York State bar.
• 5–8 years of experience in litigation, including taking and defending depositions, trial preparation, and discovery.
• Experience litigating before the Surrogate’s Court and the New York Supreme Court.
• Estate planning and administration knowledge is a plus.
