Melamine Facing Production Manager

Managing lamination production.

• Manage short cycle presses to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operations.
• Fulfil production budget, control quality standards and establish operational rules and procedures.
• Improve continuously production efficiency, reduce costs, increase output.
• Minimize downtime and production stops.
• Fulfil maintenance schedules.
• Develop and implement profit improvement projects.
• Implement high standards of housekeeping.
• Lead and train production team, including recruitment, appraisals and staff development initiatives.
• Ensure labour safety, fire safety and risk management standards.

• Technical education: mechanical electrical or chemical.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience on lamination production or a similar manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of lamination production processes, equipment, and raw materials.
• Familiarity with production, inventory management and quality control systems.
• Knowledge of technology, raw materials, chipboard, MDF, impregnated paper production, quality aspects.
• English language: B2 is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, people management skills, focus on results, fast decision-making.
