This established and leading Precision Timing & Frequency Technology Firm is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial machinery within a production facility, including performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, replacing worn parts, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently, often requiring proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and technical manuals; often working in a fast‑paced environment with safety regulations to adhere to.

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance checks on building systems, including HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, electrical panels, and fire safety equipment.
• Perform scheduled lubrication and filter changes on machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all manufacturing equipment and vacuum system to ensure optimal production efficiency and uptime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues, diagnose root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedules, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspections.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals to understand equipment operation and repair procedures.

• Follow established preventative maintenance schedules to proactively address potential issues.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery for wear and tear, potential hazards, and lubrication levels.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and reports.

• Identify and diagnose mechanical issues.
• Disassemble and reassemble machinery to access components for repair.
• Replace worn or damaged parts, including bearings, belts, gears, and seals.
• Perform adjustments and alignments on machinery to ensure proper functionality.
• Repair and maintain pneumatic, electrical systems as needed.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and other building components.
• Perform minor repairs including fixing leaky faucets, replacing light bulbs, repairing minor electrical issues, patching drywall, and fixing minor carpentry issues.
• Respond to maintenance work orders and complete repairs promptly. Preventative Maintenance: analyzing symptoms, sounds, and operational data.
• Use troubleshooting techniques to isolate problems and determine necessary repairs.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working on machinery.
• Report any safety concerns or hazards immediately.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a manufacturing mechanic or related role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Basic understanding of electrical, vacuum and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Must have mechanical background in repairing pumps and various machine types.

• Ability to lift heavy objects, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity to handle small parts and tools.
• Must have knowledge of basis of Vacuum system as well Plumbing, HVAC and Electricity.
