Heavy cardiac focus – dysrhythmias, CVAs, mixed acuity patients, and stepdowns from ICU Telemetry:
Yes Monitor techs available RNs must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips Unit serves as the central monitoring station for the hospital Staffing & Ratios Nurse-to-Patient Ratios:
Stepdown: 1:4–5 Med/Surg acuity: 1:6 Charge Nurse:

Days & Mid shift: 2 per shift No CNA coverage after 11:00 PM Scheduling RN
