This role is designed for external retail assistant managers and store managers interested in "fast-tracking" into a Store Management position. This role requires a minimum of 1 year retail management experience.

Description
We are seeking a Retail Store Management Trainee to join our team. The role offers a pay range of $15.00 to $26.48 per hour and is designed for those with at least 1 year retail management experience. Successful trainees can earn up to 8% commission on transactions, averaging an additional $5.00 per hour.
Position Summary
The Store Manager Trainee will assist in managing daily store operations, developing staff, achieving financial goals, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role involves financial analysis, asset protection, and promoting a customer-centric environment. Compensation includes hourly wages, commissions, and performance bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Engage customers professionally and address issues promptly.
- Train and develop pawnbrokers.
- Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
- Manage store opening/closing, cash, and merchandise.
- Control inventory, property safety, and customer loans.
- Analyze financial statements and drive profitability.
- Maintain operational standards.
- Monitor loan processes for integrity.
- Complete training and self-development tasks.
- Communicate store mission and goals clearly.
- Act as manager on duty when needed.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
- Lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Perform physical tasks (standing, walking, etc.) for extended periods.
- Effective supervision skills.
- Ability to work with firearms and obtain certification.
- Minimum age 18, high school diploma or GED.
- Flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Work 45+ hours/week, based on business needs.
- Computer literacy, cash handling experience, and organizational skills.
