Youth In Need is seeking a Preschool Educator to create a warm, welcoming classroom that helps children reach their highest potential while working closely with parents and colleagues. The role requires a deep commitment to responsive care, classroom management, lesson planning, and developmentally appropriate practice.

• Develop and implement engaging, age‑appropriate lesson plans.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Demonstrate exemplary responsive care and classroom management skills.
• Collaborate with parents and staff to support each child’s growth.

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development from an accredited institution.
• At least 36 semester‑equivalent hours in the ECE/Child Development curriculum if the degree is related.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Head Start or licensed community childcare program (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain CPR certification.
• Current or eligible to obtain CDA credential or equivalent.

• Hourly rate: $22.00 per hour with CDA credential (or $16.19 per hour prior to credential).
• Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance at low cost.
• Paid time off: 12 holidays, 1 floating holiday, 12 sick days, and 2 weeks vacation (increases with years of service).
