• Actively approach customers requiring additional help to identify their needs and advise them on the best solutions for their homes.
• Keep area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked. Ensure that the IKEA merchandising standards are in place at all times to give customers a positive shopping experience.
• Convey passion about IKEA products and actively learn about their features and benefits, sharing this knowledge with customers to help them make informed choices, resulting in a better overall shopping experience.
• Build furniture as needed for In‑Shape As New, new product introductions, commercial calendar implementation and remodels.
• Prepare, produce, and maintain IKEA Food menu items; serve all IKEA Food menu items; follow procedures and guidelines for safe food handling, cleanliness, sanitation, and workplace safety.
• Receive inbound goods and ensure inventory accuracy at the point of receiving.
• Flow product to final selling location.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide customers with a simple and efficient Full Serve Hand Out experience.
• Provide the customer with a simple and smooth returns and exchange experience.

• 1 year of retail experience, preferably in the home‑furnishing sector.
• Experience in actively selling by understanding customers and their needs.

Pay range: $18.50/hour to $26.14/hour
