Role Description
This is an on-site internship role for a Ph.D. Student at Florida State University, located in University, FL. The Ph.D. Student will engage in advanced research within their specific field of study, assist in academic writing and publishing efforts, and participate in teaching or instructional responsibilities. The role may also involve attending seminars, workshops, and conferences to enhance academic and research skills.
Collaboration with faculty advisors and contributing to ongoing departmental research initiatives will be an integral part of the role.
Qualifications
- Strong research and analytical skills, including experience in designing and conducting research projects
- Proficiency in academic writing, editing, and reviewing academic publications
- Excellent skills in communication, teaching, and presenting research findings effectively
- Ability to collaborate on interdisciplinary projects and work in a team‑oriented academic environment
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills to balance coursework, research, and other responsibilities
- Familiarity with specialized tools or software relevant to the specific field of study
- Enthusiasm for contributing to academic and research excellence
- Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field and formal admission into Florida State University's Ph.D. program
