FINANCIAL AID SPECIALIST II
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a Financial Aid Specialist II to serve as the primary counselor to undergraduate and graduate students and as the faculty contact for the schools. Responsibilities include establishing program criteria, awarding loans and scholarships, ensuring student compliance with federal regulations, conducting financial aid orientations, maintaining office hours, managing the alternative/student loan process, and serving as the in‑office contact for various lenders.
ResponsibilitiesBachelor’s degree and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for the education requirement.
