Position: SUPERVISOR-FINANCIAL AFFAIRS

Supervisor – Financial Affairs (T232258)

To supervise employees and/or a major process for a unit within UAB Financial Affairs. This position is responsible for supervising employees and major processes in support of Accounts Payable. Seeking eager candidates ready to step into a supervisor role or with prior supervisory experience.

  • Supervises employees and/or major processes and operations to ensure success of the unit. May train staff, assign duties, interview, conduct performance reviews and manage disciplinary actions. May approve time off requests and timesheets.
  • Manages workload to ensure timely review and approval of all submitted requests. Ensures management receives up to date progress and reports as required.
  • Guides, directs and resolves issues for departmental contacts to ensure completion of all submitted requests.
  • Provides guidance and direction to senior level administration, managers and campus wide customers as needed. Serves as back up in absence of Manager or Supervisor.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    • Salary range: $43,890 – $45,206.70

    Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
