Job Description
SENIOR MARKETING AUTOMATION ADMINISTRATOR
To manage a team of email marketing specialists in the Office of Marketing and Communications utilizing the Salesforce Marketing Cloud to create campaigns and automations to connect with a target audience. To support and manage projects pertaining to the Salesforce Marketing Cloud. To assist in setting enterprise-wide marketing automation strategy. To administer Marketing Cloud settings, security and integrations. This position is required to keep abreast of best practices in the field and remain up-to-date on current trends and new technologies.
This position should anticipate change and ensure the organization is positioned to succeed.
- Manages a team of email marketing specialists in the Office of Marketing and Communications.
- Helps them in growing their marketing automation skills and assists in managing workload and more complex problem solving.
- Supports and manages projects pertaining to the Salesforce Marketing Cloud marketing automation solution.
- Assists in setting enterprise-wide marketing automation strategy.
- Serves as the systems administrator for the Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment, including system configurations, managing users, defining user roles, and creating automated workflows and journeys.
- Acts as the subject matter expert on marketing automation and is responsible for maintenance and enhancements.
- Leads analysis of specifications for new development requests, including campaigns, integrations and marketing automation.
- Develops journeys and process flows to support the design and development of Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions and to support institutional goals.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and continually optimizes campaigns for performance.
- Identifies and tracks metrics to make data‑driven decisions.
- Manages data feeds and other integrations with Salesforce CRM.
- Provides solutions and demos to end‑users and training to UAB Marketing Cloud users.
- Provides support to staff members in solving problems, including case management with Salesforce Help Support.
- Writes and automates custom SQL queries to segment data, join data and share data with other business units.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
$85,000 - $95,000.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field and seven (7) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
