The Stony Brook University Advancement Coordinator, Email Marketing supports the Marketing and Communications team mission by managing and optimizing the division’s email campaigns and ensuring impactful communication with university supporters, alumni, and community members. This role will be instrumental in increasing engagement, nurturing relationships, and driving action through compelling email content and data-driven strategies.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute email marketing campaigns.

Compose compelling email content that aligns with the university and division brand voice and mission.

Report on email campaign performance and use insights to optimize future campaigns.

Collaborate with members of the Marketing and Communications, Constituent Experience, and Data Services teams to support Advancement’s goals.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):
Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Two (2) years of full-time experience in email marketing and/or digital marketing.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a higher education, non-profit and/or healthcare system. Experience using email marketing platforms such as Luminate and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator). Light coding experience, ideally in JavaScript and related frameworks (React, Vue), HTML, and CSS. #J-18808-Ljbffr
