On-Campus Student Advocate (University of Florida, 2029 Graduate) - Southern Veterinary Partners
Join Mission Pet Health as an On‑Campus Student Advocate. In this role you’ll bridge Mission Pet Health and your university, building relationships, promoting career opportunities, and providing real‑world leadership experience.
Your Impact as a Student Advocate- Serve as the primary liaison between Mission Pet Health and your university’s students, faculty, and student organizations.
- Promote awareness and participation in our DVM student programs through networking, email outreach, and attending student meetings.
- Host at least one engagement event per semester (e.g., lunch & learn, meet‑and‑greet) and manage all logistics from scheduling to catering.
- Share information about externships, job openings, and career paths within the Mission Pet Health network.
- Inform our team about campus events, visit coordination, and campus presence promotion.
- Complete at least one clinical rotation at a Mission Pet Health hospital within your first year as an Advocate.
- Support our social media by providing monthly content such as photos or stories about your experiences and student events.
- Current 1st, 2nd, or 3rd‑year veterinary student status.
- Active engagement within your school community and veterinary student clubs.
- Not employed by another veterinary group as a student representative.
