About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Planner to join their team, supporting major development projects in Mahikeng, North West . You will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and monitoring project schedules, ensuring all phases of construction are efficiently planned and executed. This role is critical for maintaining project timelines, managing resources, and identifying potential conflicts or delays.

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and expertise in advanced planning software to create realistic and achievable project schedules.

Develop and maintain detailed master schedules for complex construction projects using planning software. Analyze project scopes and workflows to create accurate and efficient construction sequences. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to integrate schedules and resource plans. Identify critical path activities and potential project risks that could impact timelines. Prepare regular progress reports, schedule updates, and look-ahead schedules for stakeholders.

Optimize schedules to ensure timely project completion and minimize costs associated with delays.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency in project planning software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
