Real Estate Project Manager

About the Role

Our client, a leading developer and manager of diverse real estate assets, is seeking a skilled and experienced Real Estate Project Manager to oversee projects in and around Upington, Northern Cape . This role is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of construction and renovation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, control, and closure. This hybrid role requires a blend of on-site supervision and strategic off-site coordination, essential for managing projects effectively in the developing Northern Cape region.

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Oversee construction and renovation activities, ensuring adherence to blueprints, specifications, and quality standards.
• Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor project status and address issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and approve invoices, ensuring financial targets are met.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the real estate or construction industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects from inception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and project management software.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site presence with administrative tasks in Upington and surrounding areas.
