• Lead the design and development of sustainable architectural solutions, incorporating green building principles.
• Conduct energy modeling and life cycle assessments to evaluate building performance.
• Research and specify eco-friendly materials and technologies for construction.
• Collaborate with engineers and consultants to ensure integrated sustainable design strategies.
• Educate clients and project teams on the benefits and implementation of sustainable design practices.
• Ensure compliance with green building certifications and environmental standards relevant to projects in Upington.

• Professional Architect qualification (PrArch) or equivalent, with a specialization in sustainable design.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering sustainable or green-certified buildings.
• In-depth knowledge of sustainable building materials, energy systems, and climate-responsive design.
• Familiarity with green building rating systems (e.g., Green Star SA, LEED).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate sustainability goals into practical design solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to advocate for sustainable practices.
