About the Role

Our client is seeking a compassionate and skilled Learning Support Teacher to join their dedicated team in Mahikeng. This role focuses on providing targeted academic assistance to students facing learning challenges, ensuring they receive the necessary support to succeed. You will work closely with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized learning strategies and interventions. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying learning barriers, creating supportive educational plans, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive, operating within a flexible hybrid work model.

• Identify students' learning needs and develop tailored individualized education plans (IEPs) or support strategies.
• Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students requiring additional academic support.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate support strategies into regular instruction.
• Monitor student progress, document interventions, and communicate outcomes to stakeholders.
• Facilitate a positive and encouraging learning environment for students with diverse needs.

• A relevant teaching qualification and certification in Learning Support or Special Education.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with students requiring academic intervention.
• Strong understanding of various learning disabilities and effective support methodologies.
