Teacher - Foundation Phase; Grade R

Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher for the Foundation Phase (Grade R-3) to join their primary school in Upington . This role is fundamental in laying the groundwork for children's educational journey, focusing on early literacy, numeracy, and holistic development. You will create a nurturing, stimulating, and safe classroom environment where young learners can explore, learn, and grow.

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons across the Foundation Phase curriculum, focusing on literacy and numeracy.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes active learning and exploration.
• Assess student progress through various methods, providing regular feedback to parents and guardians.
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a safe and supportive space for all learners.
• Collaborate with fellow Foundation Phase teachers and school leadership on curriculum enhancement and school events.

• A relevant qualification in Foundation Phase teaching (e.g.,
  
  B.Ed. Foundation Phase).
• Registered with the South African Council for Educators (SACE).
• Experience teaching Grade R-3 learners is preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education methodologies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
