This Wind Energy Project Coordinator role is based in Upington, a strategic hub for renewable energy development in South Africa. The position involves managing end-to-end project lifecycle activities for onshore wind energy installations, from feasibility studies to commissioning. Candidates will work alongside cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet technical, financial, and environmental standards. • Coordinate project planning, scheduling, and execution for wind energy initiatives.
• Conduct site assessments and liaise with stakeholders, including government agencies and local communities.
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges during project implementation.
• Prepare progress reports and present updates to senior management and clients.

• Proven experience in renewable energy project management or engineering.
• Strong understanding of wind turbine technology and energy sector regulations.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage complex projects.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) or Environmental Science.
• Postgraduate qualifications in Renewable Energy or Project Management are advantageous.

• 3-5 years in renewable energy project coordination or related fields.
• Experience with onshore wind energy projects in South Africa is preferred.

45,000 - 55,000 SSP/month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
