Pharmaceutical Process Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Pharmaceutical Process Engineer to optimize and enhance their manufacturing processes in Upington . This role is critical for improving efficiency, ensuring product quality, and maintaining compliance with stringent pharmaceutical industry standards. You will work with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and R&D, to troubleshoot process issues, implement improvements, and manage process validation activities. The ideal candidate possesses strong engineering principles and a deep understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for pharmaceutical products to improve yield, efficiency, and quality.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct process validation and qualification activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch records.
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams on equipment design, installation, and validation.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering within the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of GMP , process validation, and relevant regulatory guidelines.
• Experience with process simulation software and data analysis tools is a plus.
