Junior Electrical Engineer - Control Systems

Our client is looking for an eager Junior Electrical Engineer to join their Control Systems team in Upington . This entry-level position provides a fantastic opportunity to develop skills in the design, implementation, and maintenance of industrial control systems. • Assist in the design and development of electrical schematics for control panels and automation systems.
• Support the programming and troubleshooting of PLCs and HMIs under supervision.
• Conduct wiring and assembly of control panels according to design specifications.
• Perform factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT) support.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers and project teams to integrate control solutions.
• Learn and apply industry best practices in electrical design and automation.
• Maintain documentation for control system projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field.
• Foundational knowledge of control systems , PLCs, and industrial automation concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with basic electrical installation and wiring practices.
