Senior Treasury Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Treasury Analyst to join their finance department in Upington . This role is critical for managing the company's liquidity, funding, and financial risk exposures. You will be responsible for cash flow forecasting, investment management, and implementing treasury strategies to optimize financial resources within the banking and finance sector . • Develop and maintain accurate cash flow forecasts for short-term and long-term planning.
• Manage daily cash positioning, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs.
• Monitor and manage the company's banking relationships and credit facilities.
• Analyze financial risks, including interest rate and foreign exchange exposures, and recommend hedging strategies.
• Assist in the management of investment portfolios and short-term funding activities.
• Prepare treasury reports for senior management and regulatory compliance.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate treasury, banking, or a related financial role.
• Strong knowledge of cash management, financial markets, and risk management principles.
• Proficiency in treasury management systems (TMS) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CTP) are a plus.
