PTC South Africa is seeking a Digital Twin Systems Engineer to design, develop, and deploy digital twin models for industrial systems. This role involves integrating real-time data with virtual models to enhance predictive maintenance, process optimization, and system performance. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable digital twin solutions that align with client objectives and industry standards.

• Design and implement digital twin models for industrial systems, including machinery, infrastructure, and production lines.
• Integrate IoT sensors, AI algorithms, and simulation tools to create dynamic digital replicas of physical assets.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and clients to identify system inefficiencies and propose optimization strategies.
• Conduct performance analysis and predictive modeling to improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Document system workflows, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure compliance with industry safety and quality standards.

• Proficiency in digital twin software (e.g., PTC Windchill, Siemens Xcelerator) and simulation tools.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or Java for data integration and model development.
• Experience with IoT platforms, cloud computing (AWS/Azure), and data analytics tools.
• Knowledge of industrial systems, including manufacturing processes, energy systems, or logistics networks.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset for cross-departmental teamwork.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial) or Computer Science.
• Advanced degrees or certifications in Digital Twin Technology, Industrial Automation, or Data Science are advantageous.

• 3-5 years of experience in digital twin development, industrial systems engineering, or related fields.
• Proven track record in deploying digital twin solutions for industrial clients.

600, SSP per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
