Blockchain Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Blockchain Project Manager to lead key initiatives from their office in Upington. This role is critical for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of blockchain projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. You will manage cross-functional teams, liaise with stakeholders, and navigate the unique challenges of the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.

• Plan, execute, and finalize blockchain projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
• Manage project teams, providing leadership, direction, and motivation.
• Effectively communicate project progress, risks, and issues to all stakeholders.
• Conduct project post-mortems and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

• Proven track record of successful project management, preferably in the technology or blockchain sector.
• Solid understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and smart contracts.
• Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
