About the Role

Our client is looking for a proficient Helpdesk Support Technician to provide essential IT support and customer service to users in Upington, Northern Cape . This role is pivotal in ensuring that all technical issues are resolved promptly and efficiently, minimizing disruption to daily operations. You will be the first line of defense for technical problems, offering solutions and guidance. • Respond to and resolve IT support requests via phone, email, and helpdesk ticketing system.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for end-users.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
• Provide training and technical assistance to users on IT systems and applications.
• Maintain accurate IT support documentation and knowledge base articles.

• Matriculation certificate or equivalent; relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) are highly desirable.
• Proven experience as a helpdesk technician or in a similar IT support role.
• Solid understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and common software applications.
