Our client, a key player in the pharmaceutical distribution network, is seeking an analytical and organized Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Analyst to enhance their operations in Upington . This role is vital for optimizing the flow of pharmaceutical products from manufacturers to end-users, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory requirements. You will analyze supply chain data, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to streamline logistics, inventory management, and demand forecasting.

This hybrid position allows for strategic planning and analysis, with periodic site visits as needed.

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategies for inventory management and demand forecasting to optimize stock levels.
• Monitor supplier performance and collaborate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery and quality.
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations related to storage, handling, and transportation of medicines.
• Prepare regular reports on key supply chain performance indicators (KPIs) for management.
• Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
• Familiarity with supply chain principles, inventory management techniques, and logistics operations.
