Industrial Engineer - Manufacturing Systems

Our client is seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer focused on manufacturing systems to join their hybrid team in Upington . This role will involve the analysis, design, and improvement of manufacturing processes and systems to enhance efficiency, quality, and throughput. You will work on projects ranging from optimizing assembly lines to implementing new production technologies, collaborating closely with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams.

• Analyze current manufacturing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Design and implement new manufacturing processes, equipment, and workflows to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Develop and utilize simulation models to test and validate process changes before implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and maintenance, on system integration.
• Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles and tools on the production floor.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience in analyzing, designing, and improving manufacturing systems and processes.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
